My Story
Hello! My name is Laurel Guimaraes, and I am a Registered Dietitian, birth & postpartum doula, and certified childbirth educator with a Masters in Human Nutrition from the University of Alabama. I have always been passionate about maternal nutrition and the importance of parents' lifestyle during pregnancy. My Philosophy
As far as nutrition goes, I believe that any dietary changes that are made should be enjoyable, sustainable, and beneficial to your lifestyle and overall health. No one person is the same, so individualized counselling is essential.
In doula support, whatever your decisions are on your pregnancy and birth are, I will stand behind you 100%. The only right choice is the one that you feel most happy with!
Regarding Payment
I do accept certain health insurance policies for Medical Nutrition Counseling ONLY.

Self Pay for Nutrition: $125/visit or $570 for 6 visits (equals $95/visit)
